What can we offer your child? Scoil Mhuire Naofa has a long and proud history of education in the Carrigtohill area. There is great emphasis on a child-centred approach to education in the belief that a high quality education enables the child: to live life to the full as a child and to realise his potential as a unique individual to develop as a social being through living and co-operating with others and to contribute to the good of society to prepare the child for further education and lifelong learning

The curriculum followed in Scoil Mhuire Naofa is based on Curaclam na Bunscoile.
It is divided into the following key areas:

Languages: Gaeilge, English and Français

Mathematics

Social, environmental and scientific education: History, Geography and Science

Arts education: Visual Arts, Music and Drama

Physical education

Social, personal and health education

 Religious education: Children are prepared for the Sacraments of First Confession, First Holy Communion and Confirmation.


School Uniform: Grey Shirt Wine Tie Grey Pants Wine Jumper. We also have a School tracksuit which is worn on PE days.

10. 30am Sos Beag (10 Noiméad)

12. 30pm Sos Mór (30 Noiméad)

1. 30pm Junior & Senior Infants - Closure

2. 30pm All other classes - Closure

School Shop The shop is open from 8.50 to 9.00 each morning for the purchase of items such as copy books, biros, erasers and pencil sharpeners etc.
