Parents' Association
The Parents' Association aims to provide support to parents by liasing with them and communicating their views and concerns to the board of management. Elected each year by the parents, monthly meetings provide the forum to contribute ideas and raise any issues concerning their children.
The Cork City Marathon is taking place in June and as in previous years we have entered a team (either running or walking as individuals or as part of relay teams). Last year we had a number of teams consisting of both parents and teachers. It was a great day and raised funds for school equipment. Teams can range from 1 to 6 people, anyone interested in taking part can come along to a monthly meeting or contact anyone in the parents' association.
The parents' association can suggest and/or organise extra curricular activities, and are always seeking new ideas e.g. sport, leisure, music, workshops etc. If any parents / guardians in the community feel they may have some suggestions we would love to hear from you!!!!!
As always, the Parents' Association could not succeed in any venture without the support of the parents/guardians, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for this continued support.

Another school year draws to a close. We, on the Parent Association Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank you all most sincerely for the help and support given to us throughout our many activities in the past year. The committee is elected each year by the parents and we meet on a monthly basis providing the opportunity for all to contribute ideas and raise any issues concerning their children. We have two parents which represent us on the Board of Management. We are affiliated to the National Parents Council who are a great information source and support to us. All this information can be retrieved on their website on NPC.ie
On behalf of the Committee, Parents and Guardians, We would like to thank Mr Leo and all members of Staff for their encouragement and support in all that we have accomplished. We are extremely fortunate to have such a supportive group behind us.
A special word of thanks goes to the boys of Scoil Mhuire Naofa. No matter what event is held, from walking around the village to singing in the church, from modeling jerseys in aid of local charities, etc, they enter into everything with great enthusiasm and a great sense of fun!!
